-Reminiscences..-

Ah..it must be my tired brain acting up. I actually deleted the post I wanted to publish initially...

Went to town today to catch 'The Notebook'. It was truly one mad dash from Boon Lay to Orchard. Ah..as my friend commented: the lengths we go to just to watch a movie.

Nevertheless the movie was not a disappointment and worth our rush for it. "Do not care about what I want, your fiance or even your parents want. Follow your heart"--Those were Noah's words to the female lead. Truly how many times in our lives have we been dictated by others' expectations of us?

Love is neither a feeling or just a fleeting emotion. It is a decision. Who can forget Shakespeare's infamous sonnet "Shall I compare thee to a summer's day"? Or the tragedy of "Romeo and Juliet"? What about Ophelia who went mad and died for unrequited love by Hamlet who was so intent on revenge for his father? How many times have love caused you to do the most illogical thing?

"The course of true love never did run smooth" and since time immemorial, both genders has always found it hard to understand each other.
